Wow, what a year it’s been so far.
Despite the production world coming to a near standstill a few months ago, we’ve been busy behind the scenes, preparing for a new way of working and deciding what Cherryduck needs to do in order to evolve and flourish into the future.
We wanted to share some exciting news with our closest clients and industry friends.
We’ve been working on a new company strategy. This has included working out truly, what kind of company we want to be, what kind of work we want to make, and what kind of clients we want to work with.
We’ve been on a journey as a team, to understand what it is that makes us tick and we’ve all realised that making meaningful video content in a considered and conscious way is the most important thing to us, in a nutshell….. to make Branded Content for a Better World.
We’ve also realised that this is something we’ve (probably) unconsciously been doing for a while, but with still so many ways to improve we want to do more of it and be better at how we do it.
Our commitment begins with (but by now means ends with, this is an ongoing journey) our work with Bloom UK, Brixton Finishing School and albert. We have re addressed our casting and crewing processes to ensure we are providing both opportunity and giving creative license to a wider range of voices and perspectives.
This next chapter includes a name change too, eeeeeek.
Queue drum roll.
The feathers have been cleaned and groomed, and ‘Cherryduck’ will now be called ‘Preen’.
Our focus will be 100% be on the production arm of the business with the support of The Nest Post and Cherryduck Studios for post-production and studios.
We’re so excited for the months ahead and we look forward to you joining us on the journey.
